Our group has been at the forefront of research in Programming Languages, Distributed Systems, and Big Data Analytics. Our research has had significant impact and led to papers that have perennially appeared in top systems and programming language conferences such as SOSP, OSDI, ASPLOS, and PLDI.

Our research is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Office of Naval Research (ONR).

    Professor Netravali receives NSF CAREER award

  • Miryung Kim gave a keynote address at the top software engineering conference ASE 2019
  • SoCC 2019 Best Paper Award

  • Congratulations to Ravi for having 3 papers published in SoCC 2019 as well as receiving the best paper award for "Reverb: Speculative Debugging for Web Applications"
  • 2 papers: Niijima and Gerenuk accepted at SOSP'19

  • Khanh and Kai graduated

  • Khanh Nguyen and Kai Wang defended their dissertations and graduated in Spring 2019.
    Khanh will join Texas A&M as an assistant professor and Kai will join Facebook as a research scientist.
